Assistant Director of Career and Professional Development

Gina Villazhinay

Gina Villazhinay serves as the Assistant Director of Career and Professional Development and is responsible for leading the Business and Accounting Career Community. Gina works with business students to help them explore and implement their careers, as well as, partners with business faculty, staff and students to plan and execute events to engage students with alumni and employers.

Gina coordinates events on and off campus that aim to connect current students with employers for internships and full-time opportunities. In addition, Gina assists with data analysis of the EPIC program and manages the career team’s student worker staff.

Gina earned a BA in Sociology and Communication from SUNY Geneseo and earned her MBA in Managerial Analytics at Mercy College. Gina takes pride in being a first-generation college graduate and utilizes her fluency in Spanish to better assist our Hispanic Serving Institution.
