We have an exciting opportunity to join new lab as a Research Technician B. Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Technician B will be responsible for carrying out fully planned experiments on the role of the cell division regulators in insulin signaling, using cell lines and mouse models. The incumbent will use conventional biochemistry, cell biology and molecular biological methods including molecular cloning, tissue culture, immunostaining and western blot analysis. In addition, the individual will also assist in maintaining mouse colony. Duties will include keeping records of experimental results, setting up and maintaining equipment including epifluorescence microscopes according to the guidelines provided by the laboratory and providing experimental support for ongoing projects. Also responsible for maintaining laboratory supplies, preparing solutions and performing other related duties necessary to the functioning of the research project.
