Job Title: Graphic Artist
Department: Custom Art
Job Summary
The Graphic Artist is responsible for creating, formatting, and preparing high-quality artwork and product renderings for custom orders and internal projects. This role ensures that all files are accurate, on brand, and production ready. The position works closely with customers, Sales Representatives, Coordinators, and other Art Team members to support client satisfaction and maintain efficient production workflows.

Essential Functions
• Design and prepare layouts, artwork, and renderings for proofs, and production.
• Translate customer logos and ideas into accurate and visually appealing designs for customized products.
• Utilize established templates and maintain organized file systems for all production artwork.
• Proofread and verify artwork specifications prior to release for production.
• Apply working knowledge of printing, engraving, illustration, and typography processes.
• Communicate effectively with customers, team members, Supervisors, and Sales Representatives regarding design requests and deadlines.
• Learn and apply engraving and production programs as required (training provided).
• Maintain departmental policies and standards for accuracy, efficiency, and quality control.

Additional Responsibilities
• Be available for extended hours, including weekends or evenings, during peak production periods (April–June, October–November).
• Provide support to other departments when necessary during slower periods.

Qualifications
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with other Adobe Creative Suite programs preferred.
• Strong understanding of printing and design basics and typography.
• Excellent attention to detail and visual composition skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to quickly learn Microsoft 365 and other company used software
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to take direction.
