As an intern, you play an integral part of the team, while gaining career-building experience and making an impact at a leading global organization.
YOUR ROLE
- Assist the Global and Regional Market Development team in key areas such as market strategy, new product and technology support, sales tool development, and market analysis
- Conduct in-depth segment research on accounts, products, market drivers and trends
- Collaborate on the development of market specific collateral (literature, demonstrations, etc.) to support new product launches and application promotions
- Work on the development of target account strategies, including the development of target account lists, account validation, web research of prospects, and customizing target lists
- Participate in team meetings relevant to the target segment including new product development, segment team calls, etc.
- Take an active role in the intern program which includes: group project work, facilitating lunch and learns, and interviewing a variety of functions at Henkel aligned to your future interests to gain an understanding of the function and how you might fit into a similar role
YOUR SKILLS
- Actively enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a business or communications discipline
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SAP (preferred)
- Strong communication skills
- Detailed, organized and results oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, priorities and deadlines
