About Yeh IDeology
Yeh IDeology is a founder-led talent strategy and career strategy firm working with senior leaders across design, innovation, and business. Founded nearly 20 years ago, the firm operates at the intersection of leadership development, career architecture, and real-world execution.
While our roots are in design, strategy, and innovation, the Thrive By Design frameworks we teach increasingly apply across industries. Much of our work focuses on helping professionals translate complex, often unseen expertise into impact others can recognize and value.
We currently operate as a small, high-trust team and are expanding our public platform through writing, speaking, events, and digital programs.
About the Internship Program
Yeh IDeology offers multiple internship tracks designed to support different strengths and interests. Each intern will focus on a primary track, with opportunities to collaborate across tracks depending on interest, skill, and capacity.
Interns work directly with the founder and core team and are exposed to real client work, live projects, and decision-making processes.
We may select one intern per track, depending on fit and current needs.
Internship Tracks Available
1. Operations & Client Experience Intern
Primary focus: day-to-day operational support, admin coordination, and systems follow-through, execution, systems, and follow-through
Responsibilities include:
● Scheduling and coordinating client sessions
● Preparing pre- and post-session files and materials
● Managing Otter transcripts (speaker cleanup, exports, organization)
● Organizing documentation and internal files
● Supporting client follow-through and logistics
● Coordinating travel details for conferences and appearances
Communication scope: This role includes professional communication with clients and collaborators related to scheduling, coordination, and logistics.

Primary focus: planning and execution of live events, workshops, and speaking engagements (NYC-area candidates strongly preferred)
Responsibilities include:
● Supporting planning and logistics for live workshops, talks, and invited speaking engagements
● Researching venues, room setups, AV needs, and accessibility considerations
● Coordinating timelines, run-of-show documents, and event checklists
● Assisting with speaker prep materials and on-site needs
● Supporting on-site event flow for NYC-based events
● Managing post-event follow-up, notes, and documentation
Communication scope: This role involves direct communication with venues, vendors, collaborators, and occasionally event participants. Professional judgment, responsiveness, and follow-through are essential.
3. Media & Content Production Intern
Primary focus: capturing, organizing, and preparing visual content for reuse across platforms
Responsibilities include:
● Supporting photo and video capture during events, talks, and workshops
● Organizing media files, naming assets, and maintaining clean folders
● Reviewing footage and flagging usable clips or moments
● Assisting with light video editing or assembly (where skills allow)
● Preparing visual assets for social media, newsletters, and web use
● Supporting content repurposing across formats and channels
Communication scope: This role may involve coordinating with photographers, videographers, or editors.
4. Marketing & Communications Intern
Primary focus: messaging, writing, and content support

● Drafting and refining social media captions, primarily for LinkedIn
● Supporting newsletters, announcements, and short-form written updates
● Assisting with Substack articles and long-form content prep
● Organizing messaging assets, drafts, and content libraries
● Helping repurpose existing content into new formats
● Supporting communications tied to events, programs, and public initiatives
Communication scope: This role focuses on written communication for public-facing content and requires comfort working with tone, nuance, and founder voice.
Communication & Representation (Across All Roles)
Depending on responsibilities, interns may communicate on behalf of Yeh IDeology with clients, collaborators, vendors, or partners.
We are looking for interns who:
● Communicate clearly and professionally
● Are comfortable reaching out when appropriate rather than waiting to be told
● Know when to ask questions and when to take initiative
● Can represent a founder-led business with maturity and discretion
This is not a sales role, but it does require confidence, clarity, and good judgment.

All interns should be:
● Entrepreneurial and self-directed
● Comfortable working in ambiguity and learning quickly
● Tech-savvy, including comfort using AI tools such as ChatGPT for research and organization

Logistics
● Internship is unpaid; academic credit available
● 15–20 hours per week preferred
● Hybrid or remote; NYC-based students preferred for event-related roles
● Flexible schedule with clear expectations around accountability
● This internship meets academic credit requirements for communications, business, marketing, psychology, design, and related programs.
