George Latimer has served as Westchester County Executive since 2018, after having
previously served as a New York State Senator, and Assemblymen. His victory in 2017 came
from a strong grassroots coalition of supporters and volunteers to unseat a two term incumbent.
Latimer has been a true progressive leader who believes in science and has worked to
make Westchester a leader in the fight against climate change. As County Executive, Latimer
handled the COVID-19 pandemic with efficiency and transparency. Help us re-elect George

Westchester County Executive George Latimer’s re-election campaign is currently
looking to fill a number of intern / fellow positions for its summer program, with the option to
continue into the fall. Interns and fellows will have a unique opportunity to gain first hand
experience in the political process as well as exposure to the inner workings of how our
government functions. All individuals eager to be part of a progressive grassroots campaign
and establish lasting connections while gaining campaign experience are encouraged to apply.
Numerous former interns have gone on to work directly for County Executive Latimer as
members of his staff.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Interns are expected to put in a minimum of 10-12 hours a week, while fellows
will be expected a minimum of 20 hours a week.
