The International Admissions team is focused on finding the right students to fit Mercy College, no matter where they come from. From international freshmen and transfer students to graduate students, we are looking to find and recruit individuals who will excel in our academic programs and enjoy campus life, and we think you can help!
We are experts in talking about the highlights of each campus, major, and life as an international student. This is a great position to share your international education experience with prospective students and show how amazing studying at Mercy and in New York can be.
Student employees in Admissions are essential to our offices and help us in running important initiatives such as leading campus tours, digital outreach to prospective students, event planning, front desk assistance and administrative responsibilities to help operations run smoothly! Our student workers have flexible work hours, sometimes including Saturday, so they can attend events, both on campus and virtually. We are looking to hire students at all levels of their education from entering freshmen to Graduate students and are specifically looking for an international student to fill this role.
· International student, preferably a residential student in Dorm34
· Outgoing with strong spoken and written English communication and customer service skills
· Some familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; Google Docs and Sheets and data entry
· Detail-oriented and organized
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Social media experience
· Proficiency in a language other than English is a big plus
