Open Door is seeking volunteers to be part of the historic vaccination effort in the United States.
Community COVID-19 Volunteer
Open Door is operating as a vaccination site under the direction of NY State Department of Health. It is not necessary to be vaccinated to start as a volunteer.
Volunteers are needed to assist at each of our Medical Centers with registration and check-in, data entry, helping patients with consent forms, monitoring patients post-vaccination and other administrative tasks.
Volunteers must be 18 years of age in good health. Spanish bi-lingual skills are beneficial, but not necessary. Those working at the vaccination site will be provided with training and PPE.
Site locations: Brewster, Mount Kisco, Mamaroneck, Sleepy Hollow, Port Chester and Ossining. We operate Monday-Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Morning and Afternoon shifts of 4 hours each are available.
This is a long-term opportunity. A minimum of 40 volunteer hours is required within 16 weeks. Scheduling is based on Open Door receipt of vaccine doses.
