A Virtual Mentor (VM) is a high school student (age 16 or older), a college student or an adult volunteer who is passionate about helping children. VMs meet with one student a minimum of twice weekly through Zoom video calls. The goal of the 1:1 mentoring is to:

• Help children navigate online learning
• Reinforce good digital learning routines
• Offer online homework support
• Engage children in free online enrichment learning
• Provide a role model for students
