As a Foreign Service Office Management Specialist (OMS) with the U.S. Department of State, you’ll provide office management and administrative support to U.S. diplomats (consular, economic, management, political, public diplomacy, and regional security officers), in embassies and consulates abroad and domestically in Washington D.C. and New York.

You’ll be a key coordinator in the efficient flow of information, successful project and event management, and by providing essential administrative support to our U.S. diplomats, including scheduling meetings, coordinating high-level visits and conferences, arranging travel, managing electronic filing and retrieval of documents as well as the circulation of incoming electronic documents, and handling general office management duties.
