We are well-established, progressive, warm and friendly small animal clinic and are seeking out F/T + P/T Licensed Veterinary Technicians or ones that are eligible and highly knowledgeable. We have state of the art equipment and a doctor-owner who does extensive surgeries and diagnostics. A must for this position is a drive to advance your skills and to grow with our family of animal lovers.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Have strong communication skills and ability to educate clients over the phone or in person regarding treatments, products, surgical procedures and more;
  • Support veterinarians during patient visits and surgeries with experience in surgical procedures;
  • Maintain medical records and be flexible working with paper and computer records (use of Impromed);
  • Follow safety protocols while handling pets and keep all work stations clean and sanitized; and
  • Be willing to guide and mentor other assistants, receptionists and volunteers as needed

Requirements include but not limited to:

  • Veterinary technician license in New York State a plus OR licensed eligible;
  • 1-5+ years of on the job training a must; and
  • Availability to work week nights and some Saturday’s
