Westchester County is immediately hiring into several positions to conduct case investigation for individuals who have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus or had exposure to those who have tested positive. Fluency in Spanish is preferred and all work will be performed from home. You are expected to have a dedicated personal computer and phone. The successful Case Investigators must be compassionate, resourceful and dedicated to this important role; they will be trained to use a web-based client resource management (CRM) platform to reach out to anyone diagnosed with COVID-19 in order to determine all contacts of the individual. Case Investigators will work with the cases and contacts to identify the potential exposure that led to the infection. Case Investigators are required to follow set scripts and adhere to policies and procedures provided by New York State. They will also comply with training provided regarding handling confidential information related to personal information. This program runs 7 days/week with variable shifts available Monday – Friday during the hours of 9am8pm and Saturday – Sunday during the hours of 9am-6pm. Case Investigators will be required to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for a minimum of 3 to 6 months. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of two years’ work experience. If you have strong interviewing skills, excellent verbal communication skills and can establish rapport quickly, you are the ideal candidate. Rate of pay is $20-25/hour based on related experience.
