Financial Officer

A lot of people measure success in monetary ways. I do not. I measure success by the friendships I have, the difference I make in my community. I've been involved in a lot of activities in my community, either at home or New York City. And the lives that I've impacted. And to me, that's how I define success. So with my charity work I've seen demonstrated success of how peoples lives have changed, and not just for contributing money, but actually your time. At work I've seen peoples careers grow because I've helped them with their careers, and I take career management very, very seriously. When I was at PW they made it clear to us that our career was our responsibility. And I've taken that to the next level here. So I give people opportunities. For example, a senior person leaves my team I don't go out and hire a replacement for that person. I generally promote from within and give that person a step up who would want that opportunity.
