>> My name is Oscar Velo [Assumed Spelling], and I am the Senior Program Associate for Communications at the Results for Development Institute. My role is basically to help the organization create and communicate the story about itself, to funders, to the media, to potential partners. We want to get our name out there and get some good discussion and debate about the work that we're doing. The Results for Development Institute was founded in 2007 to unlock solutions to tough challenges in low and middle income countries. On a daily basis my job entails a lot of writing and editing for different audiences, so there's academic audiences, there are other aid workers, other goal development workers. There are students and professors, there are - and there's the media and the general public that we want them to know more about our work. And so whether it's blog posts or research papers or just our website or newsletters I help craft, edit and make all of these things better.
