>> My name is Greg Brown. I am currently an operations and logistics manager at Uber. I've been there about two months. We are basically charged with operational efficiency in any market in which Uber is currently launched or launching. So my role specifically is on this team called Uber Everywhere, where our mandate is to basically launch Uber in cities across the east coast and to the best of our ability ensure that anyone on the east coast can get an Uber ride within five minutes. So my role specifically is mostly focused on the driver side of that equation, so figuring out how we can get partners online, on board, you know out there on the roads, and able to meet the demand of the rider side so those people who are looking for rides and you know everything that goes into that. Every day is a busy day, but yeah, so generally I, you know get in in the morning, ensure that, you know any driver questions that are outstanding from, you know maybe the previous night or early that morning are, you know escalated or answered as appropriate and then it's working with the rest of the team, you know figuring out whatever is on the plate that particular day, how we can address those things. So you know I'm focused primarily on six cities at this time and that's kind of ever shifting and changing as priorities shift, but you know we usually focus in on a couple of cities in a given week, you know figure out kind of what's going on, where we can better optimize our supply, what incentives we can put in place. So it's a lot of analytics around, you know what we can do to better incent drivers to be on the roads during the busiest times as well as be available in the not so busy times, and so you know that's crunching the numbers, it's looking through all the data we have available to figure out how we can be efficient as possible.
