>> The main thing is compassion. I think that no person could teach you that. It's just -- I think that if you're called to the field of nursing that you're going to have a great degree of compassion. You're going to be a people person. You don't just do it for the money. And I would just say nursing school is nothing like the real world of nursing. It's just not picture perfect like the textbooks. Your patients aren't going to follow this black and white area. I mean it's -- nursing is a bunch of gray areas, very complex. Patient presents with multiple problems and you think that they're all medical. Some are, of course, more along the lines of social, psychosocial, mental that kind of thing. That's why I say we wear so many hats. [ Silence ]
