The Accounting, Finance, and Business (AFB) Student Advisory Board welcomes you back to campus! It’s been an awesome summer, but we are ready to get back to the grind. There are seven different industry-based career communities that you can join! I have been the President of the AFB student advisory board for over a year and this experience has allowed me to establish great relationships with peers, network with professionals and meet peers with similar career aspirations. In addition, I have been able to take advantage of all the great resources Career and Professional Development (CPD) has to offer.
AFB is excited to bring bigger and better events to campus this year; we hope you will join! With that being said, AFB is excited to start the Fall 2019 semester in collaboration with the Media, Marketing, and Communications (MMC) Career Community to host a Career Trivia Night on Thursday, September 26th 6:00-7:30PM at the Rotunda. Come enjoy free food and test your career knowledge! This event is the perfect place to start thinking about your career journey or pick up where you left off when the last semester ended! This is open to anyone, but will be tailored to students interested in AFB and MMC industries.
