Summer Internships based out of the World Trade Center – The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey

Imagine yourself, interning at the organization that manages our airports, our bridges, our most admirable NYC buildings….

The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is CURRENTLY looking for their next group of paid summer interns (2020).  With over 80 internships open, you can certainly find one up your alley (or bridge or tunnel, lol).  Many of their internships are based at the World Trade Center, which is exciting in and of itself.

What sort of internships do they have available?  A variety! Studying Criminal Justice?  Apply for the World Trade Center Security Internship.  Studying Cybersecurity or Computer Science?  Apply for the Audit, Cybersecurity Internship.  Interested in Accounting?  Apply for the Treasury Department Internship.  Those are just a few examples of the many internships that are open right now.  The application closes January 24th, so you will have to apply now!  I know, it’s Winter Break, but use your time WISELY!  The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey prides itself in being a place for employees to grow in their career.  As an organization that employs ~7,000 people, the opportunities are plentiful.  What a wonderful way to start your career while you are in college.

My unsolicited advice: Set yourself up for summer, then kick back and watch your classmates freak out about getting a good experience this summer because you already landed yours.

These internships can be found here on Handshake.  Scroll to the bottom of the Port Authority’s page on Handshake to see the list of internships.

Happy Applying!

Best,
