Overview of Dept/Division:
Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) is the management of our organizations physical assets. These assets consist of every part and component that make up our trains, tracks, signals, etc. EAM maximizes the safety, service life, and efficiency of all our physical assets. The Department of Subways is committed to implementing EAM in a manner that improves the performance of our assets, maximizes resource efficiency, and enhances customer service.
Project Responsibilities:
Tasks may consist of performing sustainment related data items such as identifying asset data requirements, collecting, organizing, and cleaning of the data at the discretion of the project manager. The candidate may also engage in a variety of quality assurance testing to ensure that the various actions which will be performed by users within EAM are meeting their design specifications prior to roll-out.
Special Qualifications or Background Needed:
Strong attention to detail. Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, mainly Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Masters degree Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Planning, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 1 year of related experience in data collection or review of engineering drawings preferred.
