Overview of Dept/Division:
With over 380 employees, Elevators and Escalators is responsible for the maintenance and repair of over 300 elevators and 230 escalators within approximately 180 stations and facilities across New York City Transit.
Project Responsibilities:
– Build automated operational reports and dashboards with the help of Power BI and other reporting tools.
– Define and design new system to track and analyze budget contracts for third-party maintained elevators.
– Communicate technical requirement with business as well as technical teams within
– Organize and maintain various forms, operational manuals, and technical documents across the departmental shared drives.
– Assist in developing and publishing of departmental SharePoint Communication Site.
Special Qualifications or Background Needed:
Majors Preferred: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Management of Technology (Business Analytics)
– Extensive knowledge and expertise in business intelligence, data science, data analytics skills, and technical aspects of Power BI
– Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management System
