Career Communities bring together students who are studying majors that can lead to similar career paths. Each Career Community is led by a Career Coach, and is supported by an Employer Relations team member and a Student Advisory Board. As a community, students will hear from their Career Community leaders about events, internships, resources, and entry level jobs and career paths that are logical for these majors. They will also have the chance to gain skills and confidence in connecting with employers and alumni from their areas of interest.
Students are aligned to a primary Career Community by major. Students who have not yet declared a major are aligned to the Career Explorer Community. Students can change or join additional Career Communities at any time by following these simple steps: click ‘Log In’ (top right of screen), select ‘Preferences’, ‘Select your academic and career preferences’, select your Career Community(s)
